Delivery + Returns

 

DELIVERY ARRIVAL

Generally, we require orders to be placed the day before the target date of delivery to ensure they arrive around midday - between 12 and 2 pm.
Order before 9AM for same-day balloon delivery Auckland Wide. Orders made after 9AM will be delivered the next working day or future desired date.

  • BUSY DAYS when your order is likely to arrive late
    On special occasions, eg. Valentine's Day or Mother's Day, we may not be able to comply to our usual delivery times, so please phone or email us if you have any concern about your gift arrival time

  • BUSINESS ADDRESSES and the risk of 'same-day-delivery'
    Kindly place your order the day before intended date of delivery to ensure that your order arrives on that day. Some days can get extremely busy and traffic can go from bad to worse, so we do not encourage a 'same-day-delivery' for business addresses unless it is put on a VIP stand-alone delivery. To make sure, give us a call or email us before placing your order for same day deliveries.

DELIVERY LOCATION

Creative Balloons only deliver within Auckland, New Zealand via Courier. Unfortunately we do not ship to P.O. boxes. However, we can ship orders directly to your home or business.

  • DELIVERY TO RESIDENCE
    Balloon deliveries must be accepted in person and will not be left at the entrance unattended, unless the customer has given instructions that it is safe to do so. Please indicate phone or mobile number of the recipient, just in case we need to contact him or her prior to the delivery. If the recipient is unavailable to accept the delivery and it is not safe to leave the balloons at his or her doorstep, the driver/dispatcher will take the balloons back to our business depot where you or the recipient can pick them up. Any request for re-delivery will require another charge for redelivery costs.

  • DELIVERY TO BUSINESS
    To ensure your order is delivered to a business address, kindly place the order one day before the intended date of delivery. We cannot always guarantee deliveries to a business address if ordered on the same day. Please give us a call (international +00 64 9 8139656 or local 09 8139656) to check if same-day delivery is possible. Please leave us phone or mobile number of the recipient, just in case we need to contact him or her prior to the delivery.

  • DELIVERY TO HOTEL, HOSPITAL & SCHOOL
    Deliveries to a hospital, hotel or school are normally made to the main office or reception. The customer is responsible for ensuring that the school reception or office contacts the recipient to pick up the balloons.

RETURNS

Balloon Bouquets. In the unlikely event that your balloon delivery/gift is damaged in transit, please contact us within the next 24 hours and we will automatically replace it with the same delivery/gift of equal or greater value. Please note that a photograph will be required for the replacement of any damaged goods. We may also require you to return some materials used to help us analyse what went wrong with the delivery or simply to help us recover some items that are still reusable. Creative Balloons uses high quality materials but does not offer guarantee on our products once they are in the hands of the customer. Balloons are sensitive items and they can be damaged easily when placed in/under heat, air-conditioning, direct wind or simply kids who are toying around with them.

Plush toys and other items. We require items to be sent back to us within 7 days before they are replaced. Costs incurred for the return shipping of the purchase are the responsibility of the customer. All items will be checked to make sure they have been unused, unwashed and unaltered with all correct tags present. Although Creative Balloons carries high-quality items and brands, we do not offer guarantees on our products once they are in the hands of the customer.

REFUNDS

We will take prompt action to address service issues that are reported no later than 3 days after delivery. After this deadline no replacements, refunds, or credits will be issued. In order for us to provide a replacement or refund, we require that a photograph of balloons reported as defective be emailed to info@creativeballoons.co.nz with a note providing the invoice/order number and date. We will no give any full refunds for items that were delivered late because of wrong addresses or circumstances beyond our control.

  • A. Refunds for purchases below $500.00

    For a full refund, the deadline to submit is 12pm (New Zealand time), the day prior to the delivery. Orders cancelled or changed after this deadline are subject to a cancellation charge ranging from $20.00 to 100 percent of the order value, depending on the extent of preparations made for the order.We are normally unable to cancel or change an order on the date of delivery.

  • B. Refunds for purchases over $500.00 
    For a full refund, the deadline to submit your request is 12pm New Zealand time, 5 days prior to delivery. Requests received after this deadline are subject to a cancellation charge ranging from 15% to 100% of the order value, depending on the extent of preparations made for the order.
     

DELIVERY TIMES

We make it our commitment to deliver your order on time but we offer  no guarantee of exact time unless you have availed of our VIP delivery. We also advice that you contact us by phone or email if you have an placed order that needs to be delivered within the next 24 hours.


CANCELLATIONS/CHANGING ORDER

Please send your request by email to info@creativeballoons.co.nz or leave a phone message at (09) 8139656. Please consider your order canceled or changed only when you have received a confirmation by email.

An NZ $10.00 Administration fee may apply to cancellations of, or changes to orders made online within 24 hours of the despatch time. Once despatched, cancellation is no longer possible.
 
For balloon decorations, cancellation or changes will be stipulated in a contract of agreement or details emailed to you for confirmation. Cancellation fees may apply based on the amount of the decorations ordered.
